Space Coast Surfers For Autism
by Josh on Sep.30, 2009, under Events

There are a few times in life when you get to participate in something that really makes a difference in someone’s life and this event was one of those times. The First Annual Space Coast Surfers for Autism surf event was truly a great time with loads of smiling faces and a ton of first time experiences for everyone!
We were lucky enough to meet Mr. Don Ryan (event organizer) at the National Kidney Foundation surf comp that we promoted at a few weekends prior. He invited us to come and promo at the Surfers for Autism event and we were excited to be headed back down to Cocoa for a fun day in the sun at the beach with a group of really great people. Don is a just a joy to “work” with…I say “work” because, while there are serious parts, it’s all just so much fun and he is a really great guy all around. His devotion, to not only autism research, but surfing is inspiring and he makes it a point to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Okay, Don…I’ll stop now.
The day started early for all of us. We met up before the sun rose to set up tents and to get the whole area organized. Driving into Cocoa at midnight, only to wake up 5 hours later to start digging holes to set sand anchors in the dark, is starting to become second nature…ugh. Haha.
It’s not that bad and I love seeing the sun rise out of the ocean in the morning. By 8am the whole event area was set up and we were ready for surfers. Don gave a pre-event meeting and everyone began registering surfers and we started teaching on the lines.

I had been in Charleston, SC the night before demoing some gear for a company and meeting with a few retailers and decided that since I was in the area I would stop in and spend the night with my brother and his family. I had a delightful evening, and woke early to make the drive back down South. Little did I know I had picked up an evil little hitchhiker before I left. That little guy hung out inside me, right up until about 10:00am the next day, which happened to be be right at the beginning of our day at the event. Yes, I was hit with a wave of nausea like a giant head high set! I retreated to the tent where things gradually went down hill. I was SUPER sick for the whole event. I felt so bad, both inside and because now, Matt had to run the whole show! I have to say hats off to Matt. He did an excellent job handling the large crowd that showed up while I was down and out.
Now…my sickness left me in the tent chugging water and sitting on my butt. I really did feel horrible, but I got to talk, or at least try to talk with a lot of people. I have to tell you about this one new product I was introduced to. We met Mrs. Tiffany
Smith owner and creator of Sand Gone (www.sandgone.com). This is something you have to check out!! When you go to the beach and you walk back to your car, what do you have all over your feet? Sand! You brush it off with a towel and then there are still those little annoying pieces that sick to your legs and in between your toes and covers the floor of your car and house. Well, this stuff is a powder that removes all the sand from your body. How does it work? I have no idea, but it does what it says it does. It lifts the sand right off your skin. Pretty amazing stuff that is definitely a must if you’re an avid beach goer like we are. Check out her site and if you have any questions, shoot Tiffany an Email. She’s super cool and can give you all the details. She even bought me a Coke when I was hurlin’ all over the beach.
Thanks so much, Tiffany!
The event seemed to go smoothly and we were fortunate to not get slammed with a huge storm until the very end of the day. Even then, the rain wasn’t near as bad as it looked like it was going to be. The surfers did great and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves on the lines. Besides me being sick, there were a ton of really great people at the event and we’re excited to come back next year. Don did an excellent job at laying out the event area and with organizing the volunteers. We had a great time and hope to see all of you again soon!

Surfing to help others!
by Josh on Sep.11, 2009, under Events

There is nothing better than great events that are well organized, well managed, and full of spectators and contestants. Teamed up with great weather and decent wave action, the 24th Annual Cocoa Beach Surf Company- NKF Pro Am Surfing Festival was a huge success! The best part is that the entire event was used to help raise money for the National Kidney Foundation.
Freeflow Lines cruised down to Cocoa Beach for the three day event and had a great time! We were there to help the NKF raise as much money as possible with a three day demo, donated product for auction, and a percentage of sales to go toward the cause. This is the world’s largest charity surf competition and we were super stoked to be there and help out in any way we could!
We arrived in Cocoa mid-day Friday and started our setup along with all the other sponsors. We got set up and headed to the registration party at Cocoa Beach Surf Shop. We used the evening to just relax and get ready for the crazy day that was sure to come.
We spent the next three days sweating it out on the lines teaching a few hundred people how to get going. From younger to older, people came in droves. It always seems that we get a huge rush later in the day and this event seemed to carry on the same way. Around 3 or 4 in the afternoon the tent was packed and the lines were in full use with a handful of people waiting their turn.

We came up with a plan to set a few long “big” people lines and then set another smaller shorter line for our “little” people. This worked out really well and we loved seeing the little guys and gals teaching each other how to get up on the line and then start walking and doing jumps all by themselves. They are the future of the sport and it’s great to watch them go!

We were lucky enough to meet up with Pro wakeboarder, Amber Wing, who was taking a day off at the end of her US competition cycle. She got on the lines and had a few things to say. Check it out!
This girl kills it on a wakeboard!! Hopefully we’ll see her again at a comp soon. Be sure to check her out at: www.wakegirls.com
Sunday night was the silent auction at the Double Tree Hotel and we were really excited to be there
to talk to people about our product and explain how it works and what it is used for. Special thanks to Matt who brought in his laptop and played the demo movie so that bidders could see the line in action!! Thanks dude! The food at the auction was AWESOME. Again, this goes back to really great planning and organization by the event planners. The spread was impressive and well stocked…I’ll tell you that we greatly appreciated it!
The event was a great success for us and for the NKF. We’re still waiting on totals for how much money was raised, but that should be announced in a few weeks. I’ll be sure to make an update so that everyone will know. Special thanks to Rich, Phil, Stephanie, and Brian for your wonderful organization and friendliness. We’re happy to have met you and hope to have a long- standing relationship! We’ll see you next year for sure!

2009 South Carolina Governors Cup
by Josh on Sep.01, 2009, under Events
Crossing the state border, you’re greeted by the unmistakable silhouette palm tree and crescent moon blue and white flag. Sweet grass fields sweep by along with soggy low country marshes and enough pluff mud to bog down the most gnarly moster truck. The slogan on the license plates read, “Smiling faces. Beautiful places” and we couldn’t agree more that the 2009 South Carolina Governor’s Cup of surfing made us smile and the area was indeed beautiful!
This year’s SSC-ESA Governor’s Cup of surfing was held at the Washout on Folly Beach, SC and we were there promo’ing and helping add to all the action. We arrived in Folly early Friday evening and headed to “The Porch” for the pre-event party, where we met up with all the other sponsors and one of the event co-organizers Mrs. Nancy Hussy. A DJ spinning sweet reggae beats in the background, cheap drinks and food specials for sponsors and competitors alike, and the scene was looking good for a very successful event.
As for us, we had no time to waste. Since our setup is so time consuming we wanted to get an early start. Nancy told us where we were plotted to set up and off we went. Nothing like digging holes and setting sand anchors by headlamp and moonlight until 1am on the beach. Then we raced back to the hotel for a few hours of much needed sleep.
Day1
The phone comes alive at 5:45am with an annoyingly loud ring! Time to go to work…isn’t this supposed to be fun?? We straggle our way down to the beach and start bringing out all the gear that we didn’t want to leave on the beach the night before. Now, I had heard a joke that the mosquito is the state bird of South Carolina, but I have to say the no seeum gnats on the beach in the early morning hours were HORRIBLE!! Setup isn’t the most enjoyable thing in the world, but added with a swarm of biting gnats that leave you swatting in every possible direction is the worst. As the sun rose and the wind began to pick up the gnats disappeared and the setup was complete. Matt was on the bull horn and we were ready to GO!
The first heat started at an early 7:30am and continued all day. The early morning tide provided some really nice waves with super clean lines for the bright-eyed competitors. As usual we got a few strange looks at first. We had two long lines set up off the front of the tent and then one smaller and lower line set a little off to the side so kids could get up and play by themselves. Once we got up and started walking, people understood what was going on and the masses came! Always timid at first, but curiosity getting the best of them, spectators break down and head over to give the lines a shot.

We had little kids by the bazillion and surfers galore. We had mom and dads, babies and anyone you can imagine. The response was slow at first, but only increased as the day went on. As always, there were a few rock stars who were ripping all the way down the line only after a few minutes of practice, and others were throwing run jumps and run flips right away. It was great!
We ended the day around 6pm and were super stoked to have such a solid day on the beach and to have met so many wonderful people. Again this has to be my favorite part about doing all the promotion. The people I meet and the stories I hear are great. The lines received a lot of attention and everyone had something positive to say. We hurried up and packed down all the gear to make it over to the dinner/banquet for the evening. What a nice day and a really well organized banquet.
Day2
Back up and at it at 6am! The early morning swell wasn’t as strong as the day before and with a lot of the pre-lim heats out of the way, the beach was pretty quiet until around 11am. People slowly started appearing and then the rush was on. For some reason the day felt MUCH hotter than the day before and this turned the sand into what felt like hot lava!! Needless to say, this didn’t help much with getting people on the lines, but that doesn’t mean they stayed away either. These South Carolinians are hardcore beach goers and sweltering sand doesn’t stop them!!
The day continued much as the day before and we were excited to get some time on the PA to talk about our product and then to give away some lines we had donated to the raffle giveaway. We raffled off ten lines and shirts and everyone that won seemed super stoked and it was awesome to see them so happy! Now you guys have to get pix of yourself and send them in to us so we can put them up on the site!!! :)

In all, the event was a really great time for us and I believe for everyone involved as well. We introduced the sport to a few hundred new people and got to meet some really genuinely nice people. The event was meticulously planned and expertly executed! I was highly impressed at the planning and coordination done by the event managers. Food and drink was abundant, judging was spot on, heats went out as scheduled, and the sponsors got a fair amount of air time over the PA.
Special thanks to the SSC and ESA for inviting us out and letting us demo at their event. Nancy, special thanks to you for your assistance with lodging and keeping us updated!! We hope to make this an annual tour stop and look forward to next year. Those of you who won lines, get on them and rip it up next year! See you on the sand!
2009 RDS Pro/am Skimboarding @ Vilano Beach, FL
by Josh on Aug.26, 2009, under Events
Wow, what a weekend!! Imagine a nice partly cloudy sky with temps in the mid 90’s, a cool breeze whipping across a storm torn ocean, sexy tan girls in skimpy bikinis and muscular tone guys with skimboards in hand, sand beneath your feet, and tunes jamming in the background. Sound like a dream? Add a massive shore break, perfectly sculpted and you have the 2009 Run Drop Slide Pro/am Skimboard competition!
We were super stoked to be a part of this year’s RDS Pro/am. The owner and organizer of Run Drop Slide, Steve Pullara, added us as a late entry sponsor and got us a slot on the beach to promote at the event.
Day1
We met up with the rest of the sponsors early on Saturday morning to a cloudless sky with HUGE surf! Shore break was well overhead and the skimmers were out in full force! We set up our tent and Matt began setting up the inside displays while I got on hole duty to set up the sand anchors for the lines. Dripping with sweat and rushing to get dug in, I was informed that at high tide…the beach would be underwater. Great!
I began to dig with fierce determination and soon had two anchors dug in. I was eager to set up the first line and get people playing as quick as possible. I passed the shovel on to Matt and he got to digging like a mad man as the tide lapped at the lip of the beach. As I was setting up the first line Matt yells at me to come over and bury the final sand anchor. I picked up the anchor and ran over just as a massive wave rumbled over the event area and completely filled in the hole Matt worked so hard to dig.
I had to laugh as Matt said, “Hurry up….I’ll keep digging…all I have to do is get the water out!” Sloshing franticly at the hold Matt was in full swing! Water and sand was flying everywhere and the hole was constantly filling in more and more. I was still laughing and Matt was in pure concentration. It reminded me of the classic made for TV movie nurse that just won’t quit CPR on a patient. Matt was DETERMINED to get that hole dug and I had to slow him down and make him realize it was futile. :)
High tide was wild! The ocean covered the event area and wrecked havoc on anything in its way. Skimboards, towels, sandals, and even a PA system fell victim. The surf went all the way to the dunes and out into the streets of Vilano. Rain, shine or ultra-high tide….the event went on! Slacken’ IN the ocean!
The tide subsided in about an hour and we finished digging in and decided to anchor off to the truck instead of going into the holes we dug earlier. We had people on and off the line all day. Tons of kids, skimmers, spectators, moms & dads, even a newborn! It’s always amazing to see how some people pick up the sport so fast. There were a few people who were able to walk the entire line after only playing around for about an hour. As the sport continues to spread it will be amazing to see what happens in the future. The tricks that we think are so cool right now will soon be the beginner tricks.
The day continued smoothly until late afternoon when a pretty nasty storm blew in from the southwest. Heavy rain and pretty serious lightening sent most beach goers running for the safety of their hotels and homes, but then, as before….the event carried on. The rain smoothed out the surf and the skimmers were getting some really great liners and fast rides. The rain lasted about an hour or so and then the weather got progressively better.
The evening was quite pleasant and right toward the end of the day we had a surge!! All of the pros came over and started working the lines. There were some really great wipeouts and some really interesting techniques, but most of all, there was a lot of fun and good laughs. There was even one dad who, with a little help getting up, threw a HUGE backflip and stuck a perfect landing for the crowd. The evening ended with us racing against the clock to get our truck off the beach before 7:30 so we we didn’t get a ticket. In all, a very solid day and we were beat!
Day 2
We had started the day a little too late the day before, so today we were the first on the scene (6:30am). We started hauling all of our gear to the event area and dropping off load after load. It didn’t take long until we were assisted by a few really great kids who had been playing on the lines the day before. Guys if you read this, you’re AWESOME! Thanks so much for helping us get all our gear to the beach!! We were set up and had two lines ready to go before the next sponsor showed up! Can you say eager??
The day cranked on much like the first, minus the horrendous high tide surf. Most of the people that had been on the lines the day before were back and ready for more action. Another great thing that I love to see is when people who just learned the day before encouraged and helped teach new people. It’s so great to see the community that can so easily be built and the positive vibes that come from everyone.
The pro finals put a stop to the show as everyone crowded the event area to watch the battle ensue. Now I had seen people skimboarding at the beach before, but most were just slipping along in the wash on a nice flat beach, but the pros….ohh no. This is something MUCH different. These guys are GNARLY! Sprinting down a thirty degree sloped beach at lightening speed, dropping a thin board on nothing more than wet sand, sliding off and across the water to hit a perfectly timed wave as it reared it’s beautiful face takes a huge amount of talent and timing! These guys made it look easy. If you’ve never been to a skim comp I would highly recommend it.
After the pro heat was over the crowds returned to the line and people continued to learn and teach each other until the events ended. The awards ceremony was short and sweet with all of the prizes being handed out along with the traditional wooden skimboard replica trophies. Some of the winners took home a few lines that we donated as prizes and we’re excited to see some pix of them and hear their reviews. Steve did an exceptional job at organizing and keeping the event flowing smoothly.

Overall, the event, I felt, was a huge success for both Run Drop Slide and Freeflow Lines. I was happy to see the mixture of the two sports flow together so seamlessly. We really enjoyed ourselves and the positive feedback we got from people who attended and tried out the lines really encouraged us. Thanks to everyone who came over and hung out with us. We’re glad you enjoyed the lines; we’ll be looking forward to seeing you again soon and if not, we’ll see you next year at the event. Stay safe and slack hard!!!
Sun and sand @ Jax Beach
by Josh on Jul.26, 2009, under Events
Wow, another great day at the beach! We have been traveling quite a bit (hence the reason I haven’t updated in a while), so it was super nice to hang out for the day and have fun. Matt finished up his Puerto Rico tour and made it back into town pretty beat down from lack of sleep and travel hassles. I had just come in from a surf competition in Charleston and was pretty tired myself. Stack that with a crazy week to follow, and it was time for some fun in the sun!
We ended up making it out to the beach right around noon and the sand was COVERED with beach goers baking in the blistering hot Jacksonville sun. No rain in sight this time! I had a ton of stuff to bring down to the sand and I wanted to give a personal thanks to Christina for helping me move all my gear down to the beach. You’re the best!! There were so many people that our normal setup wasn’t possible so we had to wait around for a while just to get enough space to set up some A-frames and sand anchors.
Finally, we had a line up and people started flooding in. We’re starting to build a little crew of slackers and it was nice to see them show up. Christina, Hailey, Lexi, Paul, “Backflip” Chris, and a few others, it was awesome to see you. I was running around shooting pix and video but I was watching and you all are getting much better and looking very strong on the lines. Keep it up!! We love having you out and thanks so much for helping teach others how to get on the line!
We had a lot of people come over, some to give the lines a try and others to simply watch in curiosity. A few of the Jax Beach lifeguards (off-duty of course) came over to check out what we were doing. As usual, I don’t remember names (sorry guys, I’m horrible!), but they were really good for their first time ever. They mentioned setting up a line at the Lifeguard house and we hope to do it soon! Shoot us an e-mail guys and we’ll come set up and demo it so everyone can start playing/training on it.
I have to say, Jacksonville Beach definitely has its “eclectic” side to it and it’s always amazing to see what is going to happen out there. Interesting people and interesting sights make for a fun day. We had a ton of new people come over and hang out with us. A few of them were really good and it’s great to see them help teach their friends only after being on the line for a few minutes. I think that might be one of my favorite things about the sport. The community you can build and the friends you can make almost immediately are endless.
I have to throw in a quick note about Mr. Chris Onuschak. This guy has been going crazy out on the slacklines. We first ran into him a few months ago when we were just playing under the pier. He and a friend were at the beach surfing and he stopped in to see what we were doing. Only after about an hour he was walking and doing turns…a few hours more and a few hard hits later and he was back flipping off of the line! If he could spend a few hours a week practicing this kid would be amazing! He’s a super cool guy with mad skills. His chill personality is a delight and he’s a great teacher as well. Thanks man and keep charging brother.
In all, it was a great day and the weather was perfect. I got a nice sun burnt back out of the deal, but it was well worth it. To everyone that came out thanks so much, you all make this so much fun for us and we love hanging out with you! I’ll be working on the new Freeflow Lines Bracelets soon and should have a ton of them with me next time we’re out, so if you want one, stop by and pick one up. We have a lot coming up: Artwalk, First Friday, Riverside Art Market, and more. So, come hang out with us and show off your skills! See you out there!

Welcome to Puerto Rico…
by Mr. Peppers on Jul.16, 2009, under Freeflow Updates
I have now since arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico, but just getting here was an adventure in itself so I will start from the beginning.
Today started out as your typical day for me, an adventure. I came to the realization around lets say 8:15 AM that I was leaving for Puerto Rico, had no place to stay, was completely unorganized, and I was lugging around a backpack that weighed right at 100 lbs. with all our gear to shoot for the week.. Onwards to the airport no big deal right? WRONG. For some unknown reason my seatbelt alarm decided to beep for the 3 hr drive across Florida all the way to the airport. How to fix: IPOD + Max Volume= only a minor headache but still sane… better than nothing… I had my typical breakfast on the way to the airport 4 Arizona Green Tea tall boys. Lil did I know this airport is enormous and it was going to take me 45 minutes from parking to get to the terminal, let’s just say I was pushing it 45 min. from the airport looking for a bathroom on the turnpike…
Onwards to FLIGHT 1 they double booked my seat 25E so I ended up sitting in the last row of the plane with the stewardess… No worries right? WRONG!!! I had these two insane women that had nothing to do for my 45 min. flight but sing to one another, down talk everyone else they work with, and complain about their lives constantly… I just realized how wonderful my life is lugging a 100 lb bag of gear around and driving in a car for 3hrs with a beeping alarm…

Roll forward to FLIGHT 2 (rendezvousing with Dax) Let me just tell you how fun 2 hr layover than at the airport are… they’re TERRIBLE! Dax and I reunited and talked some Puerto stuff as I stuffed my face with a lil overpriced grease (tenders and fries) hmmmm good!!! FLIGHT 2 went well, actually REALLY well, I scored us exit row seats next to one another.. Tons of room, smooth flight, and got to see the Space Shuttle launch from 37,000 feet…
TOUCHDOWN Puerto Rico: Its rental car time and a complete knock out by Dax once again. She scored us an amazing deal on the car and also had us double upgraded (Mazda 3) zoom zoom zoom!!! So out of the lot me go pedal to the floor, wind roaring through the windows, radio cranked up, and of course GPS NOT WORKING… No big deal its only a simple 2 turn 10 minute drive to a house I scored for us last minute. WRONG!!! More like lost all over the island and 2.5 hrs later we finally arrived.
Jose took us out for an amazing dinner last night. We had a great food and some empandillas (marlin, shrimp, & crab). We left La Cueva del Mar (the sea cave) restaurant and headed for downtown San Juan for a lil late night exploring and to see what the set up would be like for tomm. Knowing me I fell asleep in the car within 5 minutes and now here I am at 1:30 AM writing this blog.
Till Tommorow… Good Day…
Peace,
Matthew
Jax Beach pier session!
by Josh on Jul.12, 2009, under Events
Do you want to know the recipe for a good day? Take a huge amount of nice soft sand, a few billion gallons of salty surf, turn up the heat, throw in a handful of AWESOME people, and 40feet of slackline and you’re set!
We had a BLAST out at Jax Beach with everyone that ended up hanging out and playing around on the lines. For anyone who showed up right at 11 I am sooo sorry. I was running horribly late and apologize for my absence! It won’t happen again. We ended up getting to the beach around noon and had a nice setup spot right on the south outside pillars of the pier. The beach was packed with people enjoying the beach volley ball tournament that was going on and we were happy to have all the crowd.
The regular crew (Matt, Ben, and I) were out and we had quite a few first timers come over and get on the line. Our buddy Paul Sherman, local Jax Beach surfer/skater, came out for his first time on a line and by the end of the day he was dominating it! More to come soon brother!
We ended up meeting a gal from Colorado (yes..i’m horrible with names!) who was a big time snowboarder. She was in town visiting relative, but she came over and was getting up and walking showing everyone how its done. She had a beautiful sit start that was graceful and powerful. Props to you and keep it up!
We also had a really cool group that was out together enjoying a day at the beach and little did they know they would be sucked into the world of slacklining. Carly, Kyle, Christina, Haily, and all the others (please send me names!!
were super cool!! Kyle seemed a little timid at first to get up on the line, but he soon was getting up on his own dialing in his balance stance and even getting in some steps. Good job man!! Next time we’re out definitely come hang out and you’ll be cranking out big surfs before you know it!
Carly and Christina were hard at it as well. These two were really cool and I can see a ton of potential in both of them. I really hope to see them back out on a line again soon! I’ll have more bracelets for everyone next time promise.
All in all it was a great afternoon and I want to thank everyone for hanging out and coming to play with us! Matt is off to Purto Rico on Wednesday to do some promo and video/photo shooting. I’m eager to see his photos and read his blog. Stay tuned for that!! I’m headed to Charleston on Friday to promo at the SSC-ESA Surf Contest at The Washout on Folly Beach and plan to hit IOP pier in the afternoon after the comp. Hope to see you there!!

Back to the line in St. Augustine!
by Mr. Peppers on Jul.06, 2009, under Freeflow Updates
Ahh, finally back to my true love, the slackline! After days of cutting, measuring, sewing and oiling the sewing machine in the sweatshop it’s nice to be out enjoying the beautiful warm weather! The shop is coming along great, and it feels good to have the machine purring like a kitten once again, but it’s even nicer to be out on the line for a few hours meeting new people and getting in some practice.
I was at the fort today in downtown St. Augustine, FL getting warmed up on the line in the sweltering climate and ended up meeting some really cool people from all over the U.S. It was great having some newbies rocking the line for their first time. I had the line set at my typical practice height (~5ft high), so it was a little high for people who aren’t used to a line, but it was still a good time for everyone.
I’m excited to be out and about exploring all the North Florida/Daytona/Orlando area for the next week in preparation for my big trip down south. That’s right, my good friend Dax and I will be headed to Puerto Rico for a week to do some product photo shoots and video sessions. We’re in search of waterfalls, huge lines, lush rainforests, laid back locals and hopefully some amazing surf action!
So, out of the office I go for a week; off on another adventure that will surly be one for the record books! Stay tuned for new stuff soon. Look forward to seeing you all out and about, slacken!!
Peace,
Matt
Happy 4th!

Slackers!
Just wanted to pass along the good vibe and hope you all are having a wonderful holiday weekend. We’ve been out on the streets of Jacksonville, meeting and greeting. We’ve run into a bunch of super cool people and we’re really stoked to see some people up on the line and having a blast on their first attempts.
We spent Friday evening in Riverside playing around in the heart of Five Points for the monthly First Friday event.
It was good to meet a lot of you all and to hang out with some long time locals. Ben Smith from The Valkyrie showed up to help promote and started working the line. We also ran into a really cool guy who goes by the name “Sprout”. He’s a fire spinner/dancer..I’m not sure what you call it, but it’s cool. Anyway, it was his first time on a line as well and he was busting out some pretty impressive moves. I can’t wait to see what this guy will be able to do on a line in a month!!
We also hit up the Jacksonville Art Mart this morning to get in a few hours on the line and meet a bunch of new people. As excited as we were to be out and about there was no fighting mother nature. It was HOT HOT HOT! Did I mention…it was HOT! We spent a few hours hanging out and talking with more people and met a nice lady named Tara from Akishakti Yoga. Her workouts seem pretty intense and we’re excited to hopefully have her on a line soon so she can show off some of her yoga moves on the line. So stand by for those photos coming soon.
Hope everyone stays safe over the holiday weekend and enjoys all of the festivities. Don’t blow your hand off!! We’ll see you out and about soon!
Jax Beach mini ramp action!
by admin on Jul.03, 2009, under Events
I had the opportunity to meet up with a few local Jax Beach surfers and shoot them ripping up the mini ramp in their backyard. Very cool crowd. If you happen to run into Paul or Nate out on the beach they are good people and fun to chill with. Thanks guys and I hope you like the pix!
